Matthew’s commitment to Soccer for Peace, and mitzvot, can be best expressed in his own words:
“I believe Soccer for Peace is the perfect charity for me to support because it combines a love for Israel with my love of soccer. I have played soccer for as long as I can remember and it brings me so much joy to play the game. I know playing soccer has the ability to lift my mood when I am not feeling great. I cannot imagine being in a war-torn region and living with fear everyday. If soccer can bring a little joy to these children’s lives, that is a great achievement.”
